We hope our home (Harpers Getaway) provides a tranquil backdrop to immerse you in nature and lower your stress level so you can reconnect with those you love! It is located only 1 mile from the C&O towpath & Potomac River, 2 miles (by foot) from historic Harpers Ferry w/ breweries, wineries galore nearby.

Civil War Farm House w/Heated (seasonal) Pool

Welcome to this historical Civil War Farm House. This stone home built in 1861 by Christian Shriver and was actively used as a field hospital during the war. Mrs Shriver prepared General Reynolds his breakfast on the first day of the battle (which he was killed). The Durboraw's moved here in the early 1890's and have remained here on the farm ever since. Please note, pool is open seasonally mid-May through mid- Sept. Please inquire to its opening/closing if booking around these times.

Owner designed and custom built in 2025, this luxury getaway is nestled in the stunning Catoctin Mountains with views parallel to those seen out West. This residence offers outstanding interior and exterior custom touches and amenities. From the open concept great room to the massive covered deck & porches with rockers to the spa/pool & hot tub, there are endless opportunities to enjoy the scenic views.

Enjoy the luxury of putting on your skis at the front door! Large one-bedroom condo with ski lodge ambience: first floor, street level entrance, gas fireplace, wi-fi plus TV, large, fully applianced kitchen, washer/dryer, and one dedicated parking space in front of condo. Check Whitetail Resort website for night-skiing and snow park days. Comfortably sleeps 4; however, large leather sofa accommodates for a 5th. Summertime? Peace and Plenty Farm is a 40+ acre, stunning rural escape located in Frederick County, two miles from Historic New Market, 45 minutes from Gettysburg, and an hour from Baltimore or Washington D.C. Feel free to explore our farm’s trails and hidden gems, play yard games with the family, or swim in our lap pool (open from June through October). Our generous space is suitable for a couple's getaway, a weekend with friends, a family vacation, a working vacation, or a quiet retreat.

The Historic Booth House at the Harpers Ferry KOA

The Historic Booth House is great for families for weekend trips or holidays. The house is in a very small neighborhood, located next door the Harpers Ferry KOA Holiday, all of the KOA amenities are included with the your stay (some are seasonal). Each bedroom and bathroom is furnished with linens/towels and basic amenities. Please note this is not a "party" house. No more than 12 people are permitted, day or night. Quiet hours begin at 10pm and are strictly enforced.
