Gourmet dinning is just a 1. 2 kilometers walk away along the Ocean Beach Esplanade. Lots of kite and wind surfers, boats and barges pass in front of the house. Picnic on the beach and the sandbar out front.

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. There are two large sun-filled bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a kitchen, dinning room and living room. There’s also a third bedroom with a sofa bed for a 5th person or use it as a kids room ( we have portable crib/pack n play, a bassinet and a toddler's matresd). All rooms overlook the gardens with mountain and ocean views. This is a self contained suite in the first level of the house we live on the second floor.

Welcome to Bench 170. You will enjoy the very private entire upper floor and use of the yard as guest space. This house is a West Coast Modern built in 2012. A delight for architect enthusiasts and art lovers alike as it was a venue for the Sunshine Coast Art Crawl for several years. There is a public beach access directly adjacent to the property that takes you down to a cobble stone beach looking west to the Georgia Strait. Please refer to Policy and Rules for pets.

Enjoy a Micro Cabin experience at this centrally located acreage in Upper Gibsons. The Shanty is a Micro Cabin with a bedroom Loft and outdoor trough tub on our 2.5 acre property on Reed Road. This Cabin is a super funky, private and has a laid back feel. Our property is within walking distance to so many amenities: Public Transit, Gibsons Park Plaza and all the Restaurants & Storefronts along the 101 Hwy. Come relax and enjoy a quiet, comfy stay on a country farm. The spacious open plan studio suite features a comfortable bed, small kitchenette, bathroom with shower, television and wifi. We are dog friendly and welcome sociallized, neutered/spade dogs to romp in the yard with our four. We have limited cooking facilities (toaster oven, induction stove-top and BBQ) and encourage our guests to support the local restaurants.

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
