North Country Cottage

This beautiful, recently renovated home is out in the country down a dead-end road, but still only a few miles from the town of Ladysmith. It is about a mile from a little county park on the Dairyland Reservoir, only a few miles from the local golf course, and just down the road from hopping on the snowmobile trail in the winter. Located right on Birkie Ridge Trailhead with close access to vast CAMBA trails, this is a nature escape for outdoor enthusiasts who love to bike, ski, hike, and bird watch. Enjoy ski-in ski-out to groomed trails, bike-in bike-out right onto trails, then cozy up by the woodstove or fire-pit at night.

Hayward Haus, Modern Design w/ Classic Experience

The Carriage House

Find the perfect getaway in this charming 1916 carriage house near the heart of downtown Ladysmith. Built on the spacious grounds of the historic Smith mansion, it boasts a full kitchen, spacious living room with a queen hideabed, queen bed in bedroom, and three season porch looking out to the private back yard, fire pit and woods beyond. The Memorial Park, just across the street, includes sandy beach, fishing dock, boat launch, basketball, pickleball and tennis courts, and snowmobile trail.

It's on 40 private, tranquil acres (no neighbors!) with great access to all the Hayward-Cable area has to offer. It's small - intended for two adults, with the option of 2 addtl kids. Shallow river is home to bass, crawfish, frogs, & turtles w/eagle sightings! Cabin is a loft design with a queen bed, & two twins (not a lot of privacy). Close to ATV trails with Country store & bar/food about 1 mile. Near Lake Holcombe, & surrounding areas. $50 pet fee for one pet, add to reservation. The Eagle's nest is an adjacent unit (sleeps 6).
