Griffin - The Lake Superior Riverboat

The Griffin is a functioning riverboat, driven by paddle wheels, originally modeled after historic Mississippi steamboats. It is located at a mom and pop boat yard, which is quite different from a fancy marina. Work happens here. Metal is welded here. Engines are torn apart and put back together here. The house itself was built in 1890 and features a lake view from the patio, claw foot tub, radiators, MCM pieces and modern vintage charm. It's a 3 walk block to the lake walk where you can pick agates and watch the waves on beautiful Lake Superior.
