Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

In our beautiful beach house you live so close to the lake, you can hear the sound of the waves. The house is 70 m from the beach, the longest "lake beach" in Scandinavia. Summertime there are 5 restaurants close by.(3 in the wintertime) Perfect for catching some sun, relaxing, vindsurfing, kitesurfing, nice walks in the beautiful area, tennis, paddle, minigolf or chilling and barbecuing on the patio. Luta dig tillbaka och koppla av i vårt lugna, lyxiga gästhus i sommaridyllen Borensberg. Här, i den lilla sjöstaden vid Göta Kanal, bor du nära naturen och bara 300m till närmaste badplats med en liten sandstrand. I Borensberg finner du Borensbergs gästgiveri och Göta Hotell, antikhandlaren i Kvarnen, Börslycke Gårds himmelska kolor och kolasåser, flera mysiga kaféer och vandringsled kantad av badmöjligheter. Och precis i utkanten av samhället ligger Brunneby musteri med sin välfyllda gårdsbutik

Yellow House, all the conditions for relaxing.

You are welcome to our cabin. Here you have a great opportunity to enjou peace and quiet in a pleasant environment. You can take lovlely walks in the woods and through fields. You can rental a canoe or a boat to a trip on the lake. The cottage consists of family room with kitchen, three bedrooms and one bathroom with laundry facilities. The nearest store is in Tjällmo, 10 kilometers away. Nearest bigger town Linköping 35 kilometers away. In the cottage there will be more information.

Lakan/handduk medtages själv, men kan hyras för 100 kr/person. Tillställningar/partyn undanbedes. Vattenpipor/rökning ej tillåtet!

Possibility to loan a boat or raft in the summer, and a wood-fired hot tub in winter time. Wifi. TV. Barbecue.

Här kan ni uppleva tysnaden och ta en paus i livet. Närhet till natur och bad. I huset finns det el bastu och tillgång till spa bad ute. Vid våran egen sjö kan ni avnjuta vedeldad bastu och bad i sjön, varför inte en tur på sjön med flotten i tysthet. Tillgång till 2 st cyklar finns, för en tur i omgivningen. Ingen rökning inomhus på hela boendet, rökning utomhus tillåten Vintertid tar vi ut en kostnad av 200 sek för upptagning av isvak om gäster önskar vinterbad

If you have more cars, you can park on the street for a fee. 15 minute walk to Linköping city. Bus stop just around the corner. A cottage in the middle of the forest near Högsjö

The house is located in the middle of the forest, it is very quiet and peaceful. Perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There are 3 lakes within 20 minutes walking distance and there are more than enough opportunities for walking, cycling, mountain biking, swimming, boating, motorcycling, etc. Open canoes (2) and the hot tub are available for rent. Charcoal is available for purchase.

Motala med Varamonbaden bara ca 20 min med bil är nordens största insjöbad och bjuder på en underbar strand. Lämpar sig också för golfweekends med närhet till exempelvis Motala GK, Vadstena GK och Askersunds GK.

Vårt ställe ligger i ett litet samhälle nära konst och kultur, centrum och restauranger och mat. Du kommer att älska mitt ställe på grund av den lilla stugans trevliga läge i ett kulturlandskap som passar olika åldrar. Stugan är på tomten där även vi bor. Passar ensamäventyrare, affärsresenärer och familjer (med barn).
