A cozy, newly refurbished home on our family farm located in Northern Southland - 10 minutes out of Lumsden and just 30 minutes from Gore; the trout fishing capital of NZ. Queenstown, Te Anau and the stunning Catlin's coast are all within 2 hours drive.

Catlins Estuary View

A warm & cosy 3 bedroom house perfect for your Catlins adventures. Sit out on one of the two decks and enjoy a glass of wine taking in the stunning view down the Catlins estuary and out to Owaka heads. Drive times to local attractions: Jacks Bay Blowhole - 10mins Surat beach - 5mins Owaka -3mins Pounawea - 5mins Nuggets Point Lighthouse - 30mins Purakanui falls - 15mins Papatowai Lost Gypsy - 30mins My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups.

Old farm hut, near Winton , Central Southland

Situated 10 mins from the township of Winton, central Southland. We are a sheep and crop farm, good views over the paddocks from the hut deck. All the basics you need, bed, chair, table, kitchen, bathroom and then your own outside eating area and bath on the deck under the veranda. Nearest town is Winton 10 mins away , with supermarket, choice of places to eat or takeaway. A great spot in central Southland 2 hr Queenstown, 45 min Invercargill, 1hr 10 Te Anau, 35 m Riverton Beach

Blackwood Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway looking out over Lake Te Anau and the mountains of Fiordland. Relax on the deck and enjoy the view. Situated on a ten acre block just 5 minutes drive from Te Anau on your way to Milford Sound. A great place to stop on your journey whether you have been hiking through the hills or seeing the sights. Our cute but modern cottage (built 2019) is well equipped with a full kitchen and all the comforts of home. Come and enjoy the serenity!

The Studio at No 9.

This peaceful, hill top, studio room is just a 10 minute amble to the town’s parks, gardens, cafes, shops and restaurants. Wifi, TV, microwave and small refrigerator, kettle and toaster with basic kitchen cutlery and crockery, teas and coffees supplied. Brand new bathroom. Private entry and driveway with undercover parking. The decor is eclectic and there are two outdoor seating options. The garden is shared. Guest access by key lock. Check in from 3pm and check out by noon.

Sea View Apartment 1 (Seascape)

Our Self-Contained Apartment is fitted with modern furnishings, free WiFi and views across the ocean to the Nugget Point Lighthouse from the sliding doors. There is a private deck with a table and seating. The living area has a sofa, dining table and chairs and a flat-screen Smart TV. It has a kitchenette with a stovetop, microwave, electric fry pan, fridge, jug, toaster and all the essentials. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. It has a private entrance and off-street parking.

Hillside Retreat & Woodstoked Hot Tub

This unique place has a style all its own. Come and enjoy some peace and quiet admiring the outstanding views of Mount Benger in your own wood stoked stainless steel hot tub. The hot tub will be filled with fresh water and heated on request. There are several outstanding cafes locally along with the beautiful Clutha Gold Cycle trail. The Millers Flat Tavern is open for meals Pinders Pond is a local swimming attraction. Highland Bike hire in Roxburgh has ebikes for hire.

Our fully self contained apartment has off street parking, is North facing, and overlooks the famous Brown Trout Statue in Gore. There is a very pleasant small park where the statue is placed, and our apartment overlooks all that area. Look forward to a pleasant stay with lots of facilities and places to look at close to hand. The Catlins Sanctuary is a private and cosy 2 bedroom house. It is modest but comfortable. The property has magnificent lake & estuary views, where wildlife abounds. With 360' views of the lake, estuary & bush, this little piece of paradise is perfect for indoor/ outdoor living all year round. Located off the Southern scenic route 1.5 hours south of Dunedin, this is an excellent base from which to explore the natural wonderland of the Catlins.

Tahakopa Bay Retreat, Catlins, South Otago

Takahopa Bay Retreat is in the heart of the Catlins and offers sweeping panoramic coastal and established native Forest views. The Retreat was established by the Clark family who live on, and farm the surrounding land. The Clark's have been farming the 685 hectare coastal property in the Catlins for the last 25 years. Mt Talbot Cottage

Come and experience country living in this lovely 2 bedroom cottage on the edge of the Gore Township. Pets okay but MUST be keep outside. NO pets inside. Got no problem with people using electric cars but being sneaky and plugging in after dark will earn you a bad review and comments. Just be honest and talk with us.
