Welcome to Kelly’s Mountain Honey Homestay. Your eco-friendly escape in the heart of Goroka. Just 9 km from Goroka Airport (transfers available upon request), my homestay offers a unique experience surrounded by nature and vibrant local culture. Hosted by me, Kelly Inae — beekeeper, community leader and founder of Mountain Honey — my Homestay is more than just a place to stay. Stay in a welcoming shared apartment, where travelers from around the world come together to enjoy the beauty of Goroka.

Bird of Paradise ECO Lounge

This brand new Eco lounge (finished in June 2025) located in Mindima (Bugamo) is just metres away from famous Skeleton tribe village. Lounge is located in a strategic place close to all famous tribes of PNG what makes a Lodge a perfect basecamp for day trips to Mount Hagen and Goroka. Highest peak of PNG (Mt Wilhelm) is also reachable from the Lounge. Lounge offers 4 separate bedrooms (one bedroom with a double bed) and 2 bathrooms. Tour guide service available during whole stay for extra fee.

5 Mins to museum, airport and Goroka show grounds.

Spacious 2 bedroom apartments, hosts mordern kitchen with modern convenciences with ample parking space and back up water. Wifi services with cable TV is available. The apartments neibours the Goroka Show Grounds that hosts the popular Goroka Show. Property is close the National Sports Institute facilities for those who wish to take an early morning walk or use the gym. Cultural tours tand tours to the JK McCarthy Museam can be organized.

Goroka home away from home

Come and stay at our family home when you are in Goroka. We live overseas right now, so our family takes care of it while we are away. We're 5 min out of town and in a secure family compound setting. If your looking to explore the wonders of the highlands of PNG, our 4 bedroom home is the perfect base for you. We also have a 4x4 vehicle available for hire if you need.

Coffee Plantation Cabin

Small Wooden cabin with one separate bedroom. Queen size bed. Also 4 extra single beds in living room which can be joined together. Private bathroom, solar heated water on sunny days. No kitchen (under planning) Meals provided.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Our family provide local dishes for our clients at no cost and share stories with our guests.

Deluxe Queen Single

Standard Room bedding configuration is one Queen and one Single bed. Children up to 12 years of age stay free when sharing with an adult utilizing existing bedding.
