Private, Primitive Campsite Near White Mountains

This listing is for a simple campsite on private property with parking, a stone fireplace, a 6' picnic table, a mowed tent site, and trees for shade and protection from the weather on the south and west sides. It is a primitive camp site! No electricity. I provide jugs of water for cleaning (or drinking) and there is an outhouse for your own private use while you are here. My house is nearby and I have two dogs who will bark when you arrive, but they like other dogs and are good with kids.

The Red Bus is a refurbished Bluebird short bus offering cozy shelter for double occupancy. This is an awesome space for a small family or couple looking to enjoy the pleasures of simple living close to the White Mountains. The Red Bus is about 300m from the main house, and 50m from parking. Electricity is provided. KNOWLEDGE OF WOOD-STOVE USE REQUIRED. There is a small wood-stove and logs for use in cold weather. PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR OWN PILLOWS AND BEDDING OR REQUEST LINENS FOR A $15 FEE.

Wake up and set off for an adventurous day of hiking or biking through the White Mountains, kayak or float the Pemigewasset River, spend it at one of the many attractions in the Lincoln/Woodstock area or just relax and read in the hammock surrounded by nature. In the evening walk or drive down the hill to downtown N. Woodstock to the many restaurants, breweries and shops for an enjoyable evening out!

We have a Wolf, don't be alarmed she is as friendly as can be and will greet you and escort you to the cabin. Come vacation in our modern RV (2018 Jayco) located in a green pasture overlooking Mount Cardigan, You will have all the privacy to enjoy nature, gorgeous sunsets and our fall-time apple orchard. Sleeping arrangements include a queen size bed and two bunk beds along with a folding dinette if needed. RV kitchen with refrigerator and microwave. Located on Bear Mountain we are within minutes of pristine Newfound Lake, Wellington State Park, and other Lakes region attractions.
