BachQ is fresh and new. Set back off the road it looks across Houhora Harbour to Mt Camel; the summit is visible from the master bedroom. To the south: children's playground 100m; Houhora Big Game Fishing Club and restaurant, wharf, boat ramp and EV charging station 200m; Houhora Heads (with historic Subritzky Homestead) 5km; Ninety Mile Beach 10km. To the north: Four Square, restaurant, takeaways, commercial wharf and petrol/diesel 500m; numerous beaches on the road to landmark Cape Reinga 70km

Old Fashioned Stunner

Original, Kiwi, 50's family bach with its own direct access to Coopers Beach. Rumpty, but comfy, and sitting on a large private section with room for cars and a boat. The bach is very private and quiet. It has magnificent uninterrupted views across Doubtless Bay, and you can walk down to the beach via a private path through the trees in 2 minutes. The bach has a heat pump, heaters and lots of blankets so that it remains cosy at night. We think it's the perfect place for a relaxing getaway!

Manaaki Studio

Manaakitanga is a Maori word that loosely translates to hospitality. Joanne offers hospitality that inspires a genuine care for all visitors who are made to feel very welcome. Manaaki Studio offers a modern, warm and secure stay. The studio is the whole ground floor of our private residence. We offer majestic views of Mount Camel from the waterfront view garden. We are 2kms from Pukenui that offers a shop, bar and restaurant and liquor store. We are a minutes drive from the fishing club.

Stunning eco cabin encircled by 90 Mile Beach

Surrounded by nature and encircled by the entire stretch of 90 Mile Beach & Ahipara Shipwreck Bay, enjoy primal sea, sky and forest in a totally private setting. By day see the skies from your bed through floor to ceiling French doors, or from your private deck. Watch the sun across the ocean from the tip of Cape Reinga the northernmost point of NZ - visible from this cabin, then the sunset behind Ahipara. By night enjoy the stars as little light disturbs your view in this hilltop setting.

Houhora Harbour Studio

Enjoy your own piece of Houhora in our modern comfortable studio overlooking the Houhora harbour. We are just a stones throw from the wharf so you can cook your own catch in our kitchen with a view. Otherwise, for those who prefer, the local shop, cafe & liquor store is across the road! Pukenui is a great stop on the way to or from Cape Reinga. We are in the heart of Pukenui, a small quiet community. As hosts we share the property should you need any assistance during your stay.

Hilltop apartment & farm stay visit

Wake up in your own private, sun-drenched apartment. Perched on a hilltop, uninterupted views of Mt Camel. Our only neighbours are fruit trees, cows, a friendly dog and cat. Stunning sunrises and sunsets, fantastic for romantic get-aways or a writer's retreat. We are currently in spring and have plenty of cute little calves roaming the paddocks. The apartment is set on the north end of our family homestead, with a kitchen, bathroom & private entry.

Ahipara Surf Breaks

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). We have easy access to the property with a lock up double garage plus off street parking (even for a boat). The beach is only a short walk from the house. We live in a house on the same property so we are always available to help with any questions you have. Surfboards and boogie boards are available for use free of charge.

Black Box Bach

Freshly renovated and landscaped, the house has superb 180 degree views across Doubtless Bay. The beach, with many family-friendly activities, is only 380 metres away. You’ll love it because of the ambiance, the outdoors space, the views, and the night sky. The supermarket, bottle shop, fishing shop, takeaway & 2 Dollarstore are 2 minutes walk. A perfect spot for couples and families (with kids).

Houhora Hideaway is moden stand alone self-contained accommodation. kitchen includes large fridge freezer, 2 x gas hobs, microwave. Small oven air fryer for longer stays if required. Fully private in a tropical country setting. The prefect place to unwind without disturbance. Relax under the huge 100 years plus Pohutukawa. Large lawn area, plenty parking. Come enjoy our one bedroom, 4 bed retreat. Relax with your morning coffee in the sun with a view of our beautiful palms. Fully self contained with one bedroom with a queen bed and three singles in the common area. A fully equipped kitchen with all you would need to cook a lovely meal. Sky tv and wifi available and plenty of room to park a boat. A perfect spot for a holiday or a one night stop!

Studio Blak - Ahipara

Welcome to Studio Blak, a brand new self contained open planned space to kick back an unwind after a trip to Cape Reinga, a day at the beach or work away from home! Located in Ahipara, a small coastal town 15mins drive from Kaitaia. You’ll find us in a quiet, safe residential subdivision a 5min walk to the local cafe, fish n chips & dairy! A short 2 minute drive or 15min walk to the beach!
