Tucked away in the tranquil Mida Forest, our pretty one bedroom cottage offers the perfect blend of comfort and nature. A hideaway designed for guests who want to experience the beauty of Watamu at their own pace - wake up to birdsong, sip coffee on the verandah and wander through the mangroves, along the creek or on the beautiful white beaches. We are one of only a few houses with a private gate onto a path with direct access to the creek for SUPs, kayaks and swimming. You will love it here!

Crater Lake House - Crater lake views

Crater Lake House is a large house with an open living and dining space at the centre of which is a cozy fireplace. Enjoy spectacular views of Kyaninga Crater Lake and the Mountains of the Moon. This serene getaway is a 20 minute drive from Fort Portal. The lake is clean and safe to swim in, and you can enjoy beautiful walks along the 4 km rim, and/or explore the Crater. The 🌳Tree House🌳 sits in the branches of a mighty avocado tree. It is located just above the shore of Lake Ruhondo in Rwanda's beautiful Twin Lakes and Volcanoes Region. It is fully equipped with an ensuite bath room, including a warm shower with a view. The outside deck offers a seating area with spectacular views to the lake and the volcanoes.
