Barrabool Hills Retreat B&B, Vic.Q.2.

Barrabool Hills Retreat is a hosted venue, modelled on English & European B&B’s. An access code is given when greeted by the host, who lives on site. We are 16km from Geelong and at the gateway to the Otways & the Surf Coast; just 8 minutes from the Ring Road Bypass. Pets are welcome but must be toilet trained & have personal bedding or crate. We offer a charming, rustic, country hospitality in a quiet ambiance, surrounded by beautiful paintings. A daily continental breakfast is inclusive.

Studio apartment

Our comfortable one bedroom self contained studio apartment has a king size bed with heating and air conditioning, it also includes your own fridge. Both shopping centres and very good restaurants are within walking distance. The beach is also an easy walk away. The bus stop is at the corner of the street with easy access to Geelong railway station and other Bellarine Peninsula villages. The Flying Brick brewery and many wineries are close by. Ocean views from many aspects. Private entry.

Paper Mill Cottage

Your room at the rear of this quaint 1870 bluestone cottage is private and secluded. Enjoy linen bed sheets, plump pillows and French doors framing the view of a magnificent walnut tree within your courtyard area. Beyond, free range chooks wander the garden. A short stroll to The Paper Mill (includes Provenance Winery, gallery + more), Barwon river walks and bike trails linking to Queenscliff. 15 min drive to Geelong centre. The Surf Coast beaches and Bellarine all easy day trips.

Relaxing safe space to enjoy while visiting Portarlington, share kitchen, dining and living rooms with owners, enjoy peace and quiet plus incredible sea views, paying guests only to use house. Bedrooms, bathrooms (including laundry) and office areas are private guests quarters with own entrance. Base rate for one guest plus $30 per night per guest. Magnificent fully restored two storey Victorian Historic Mansion circa 1890. Walking distance to Geelong CBD, rail station & Eastern Beach foreshore, theatres, restaurants & shops & also to Pakington Street Newtown & Geelong West. If basic breakfast is required please note/request when booking - cereal & toast available in the Guest Kitchen downstairs. Otherwise, head down to the beautiful waterfront & have breakfast/brunch at one of the venues.
