Enjoy a comfortable retreat in a historic 1930s cabin overlooking a 350-acre private lake. This fully renovated farmhouse features its original beadboard. The historic touches, combined with all the modern amenities, make this the perfect destination for those seeking to enjoy a getaway into nature and fishing experience. A-frame near Madison Blue Springs

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. Our A-frame Hobbit House is cozy and dry and sleeps 2 . The Aframe has electricity and AC in the summer months and heater for the cooler months. There is an outdoor bathhouse that is shared with the other people on the property. Outside, there is a picnic table, chairs, gas grill with burner, and firepit. You are welcome to use the firewood found on our property. Please note we have two very friendly golden retrievers and chickens on property.

The Cottage at Grand Oaks Plantation

The Cottage on Grand Oaks Plantation is a hidden gem in the small town of Monticello, FL. Nestled under a canopy of 200 year old Live Oaks, you will enjoy relaxing as you watch the horses, ring-tailed lemurs, kangaroos... This restored plantation cottage housed guests in the early 1900's, and is now completely renovated with antique stained glass windows and doors, beadboard walls and a screened wrap around porch. Pool table and darts also. This cottage was featured in Country Living Magazine.

This slice of paradise sits on 12 acres; our home is across the lake, out of sight and out of mind.

The Knotted Oak Cottage- Fenced & Dog Friendly

Enjoy this cozy “dog friendly” 2 BR cottage on a quiet residential street in the heart of Monticello’s historic district. This cottage is an easy walk to downtown and is ideal for couples or friends for a relaxed getaway. Well-behaved potty trained dogs ( max 2) are welcome! The cottage has a fenced in yard and is located on a perfect street for dog walking. The cottage front porch is the perfect place to unwind with a cocktail before walking to dinner. Suwannee River Paradise

Remote cozy cabin-Two riverfront acres, 2 solo kayaks + 1 tandem for use with waiver. Private walk 500 ft through woods path to the riverfront. The well water is sulfur and tanic, so please bring drinking water! Sleeping loft for two more guests upstairs. Springs galore in this section of the Suwannee. Diver's paradise, "Peacock Springs" network is a short drive. Springs map provided. Conditions vary with river. It is advised to check with your host a week prior.
