Situated on the beautiful, peaceful island of Hrísey in the middle of Eyjaförður. The house sits on the water's edge with stunning views of the fjord and mountains where you can sometimes watch the whales and dolphins. PLEASE NOTICE: The island is located in the northern part of Iceland. It is a five-hour drive from Reykjavik. And you need to take a ferry to get there. No cars, pedestrians only. The ferry departs from the fishing port of Árskógssandur every two hours and only takes 15 mins.

Our house is placed on an beautiful island not far from Akureyri and has a great view out to the sea and up in the mountains. It's a quiet and a friendly place where family and friends can have wonderful time together. A restaurant Verbúðin66 is near by and a grocery store Hríseyjarbúðin.
