The Kamburinn cottage is located in a small village called Hveregardi in the south-west of Iceland, a 40-minute drive from the capital, which will allow you to easily visit the attractions on the Golden Circle route. This village is popular for its phenomenal hiking trails, one of them is Reykjadalur Hot Springs. The cabin is in a secluded location in a mountainous area which allows you to see fantastic views of the Northern Lights, decorated cozy with everything you need during your stay.

The "Old house" is in the center of evrything on Southwest part of Iceland. You have Geysir and Gullfoss about 40min away, the Seacret lagoon 10min and Friðheimar the tomato farm 35min away. The national park Þingvellir is about 45min from us also. Mt.Hekla is in plain sight and the river Hvítá, glaiserriver from the waterfall Gullfoss runs by the house.

The house is a perfect base from which to explore the fantastic sights the golden circle and the surrounding area has to offer. All the main attractions such as Geysir (less than 10 mins drive), Gullfoss (under 20 min) and Thingvellir (about 40 min) are easy to get to from the cottage.
