Stepping inside reveals hardwood floors worn smooth by generations of footsteps, while antique windows frame timeless views of the river. This living relic bears quirks and eccentricities - slightly askew walls and floors that breath as the rock foundation moves underfoot, and doors with character. Outside, a new all-seasons porch and new deck add luxury relaxation to the century old cabin.

Peacefully located in Shawnee National Forest, this pet friendly cottage is a perfect get away for hikers, travelers and hunters. Newly renovated this home boast plenty of room for exploration or simply for rest. Parks, trails and rivers are a walk/short drive away. Visit Garden of the Gods, Pounds Hollow, Rim Rock and more. Shawnee National Forest getaway.

Welcome to the Shawnee and "Corinth"! The structure in which you will be staying was formerly a two room schoolhouse that's been transformed into a residence. The school's name was Corinth, hence the name of this establishment. Accessed by a private outside entrance with a deck, the space consists of a bedroom with a queen bed, a hallway, a full bath and a beverage/ closet nook. The deck is a great place to sit and relax while watching the birds, squirrels, rabbits, chickens, and ducks!
