The Roosevelt

I built this cabin in 1989, this property has a lot of history, it was part of the land that my father in law acquired from the Roosevelt program, I believe that was in 1932, he was one of the few original settlers. we have 25 acres we are in process of making walking trail that will wind back and forth through the entire property. will be a good chance of seeing all kind of wildlife including deer turkey, squirrels and all kind of birds. This cabin is located in the Pine Mountain Club Chalets Resort, a 65-acre property less than one hour from Atlanta in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Chalet 21 has 2 bedrooms downstairs and one in the above balcony room with bath. The property has a 12-acre fishing pond (bring your own life jackets), playground, beautiful seasonal swimming pool, tennis courts, sand volleyball, 9 hole putt putt course, ping pong in recreational facility. Nearby attractions include several wineries and breweries, FDR national park, the Wild Animal Safari, and more. This is an old rustic house. If you leave the doors open, bugs may come in as we are in the woods.

Lake Therapy

This is a place to relax and enjoy the surrounding activities. This is not a place to party. If you are looking to have a party this is not the place. There are full time residents living nearby and do not wish to be disturbed. This is a place to linger as you sip wine or coffee on the deck and watch the sunrise or set over the water; relax around the fireplace indoors or the firepit outside. Recommendations for activities and food are in the Welcome Book on the coffee table.

This retreat is close to everything, ~30-35 minutes to Ft Moore/Columbus, Pine Mtn/Calloway Gardens & Auburn/Opelika. Private hot tub, fire pit and hammock.
