This renovated historic carriage house is 2 blocks from Harrisonburg’s vibrant downtown. The space is light and airy with gabled ceilings and sky-lights that open. It is located on a leafy residential back-alley, with private entrance and off-street parking. JMU’s bluestone campus is a 10 minute walk away. We’ve set-up this space for a range of guests: from JMU parents visiting their children to people traveling for business who are seeking a more textured experience with home comforts.

Welcome to our 10x16 A-frame cabin, with second floor loft. A quiet get-away, off by itself amongst trees, woodpeckers and blackberries. Loft area has a twin bed, accessible by ladder. Quiet, cozy and super comfortable, with heated floor bathhouse, flush toilet and hot shower a short walk away. There are farm animals in the neighborhood, so you can expect distant aromas and sounds associated with agriculture.

We are one mile from the hospital and two miles from JMU, 8 miles from Bridgewater College, and 20 minutes away from Massanutten resort. We are right off the interstate 1.5 miles from exit 245 Port Republic road. We are also very close to downtown and the shopping center.
