The Guesthouse in our front yard is down a 'right of way' (perfect for stargazing) & is 30 m's from our house. This couples Retreat is ideal for that relaxing , rejuvenating break. This calm stylish space will let you do that. Set in beautiful gardens with views to nearby hills,excellent hikes and river walks nearby.What else could you need for that getaway. A well fitted out cabin with all modern facilities available. Kitchen with cooking facilities and all you require. Queen size bed and inside bathroom with towels,shampoo and body wash supplied. Outside sitting area with barbecue for you to use.

The Pearl of Whakatiwai

The Pearl of Whakatiwai. A restored Bed/kitchen/dining room with separate shower and toilet. This house was built in the 50's and so we have lovingly recreated the whole 50's vibe for your enjoyment. Right on the edge of the Firth of Thames you can lie in bed with view of Tikapa Moana and the Coromandel. A great little kitchen with oven and fridge, plus all the tools you need. No TV, but great WiFi available. The price has recently increased but I didn’t increase my amount.

Fantail Studio

Our light and cosy studio is situated under our house with its own entrance and is equipped with all you might need for a comfortable stay including continental breakfast. You can sit outside undercover and enjoy an al fresco breakfast. There is a pool table and darts for you to waste time on. All good fun. We love friendly Thames with its unique shops and cafes and hope that you will enjoy it too. Thames is ideally situated for exploring the Coromandel and the northern Waikato.

A quiet suburban neighbourhood, a short walk into Te Aroha township, kayak down the Piako River, walk/mountain bike Te Aroha Mountain, soak in the mineral pools... Private access with lockbox for key access Condiments, tea, coffee, milk, bread, cereal all provided A gentle walk along the river, a bike along the cycle trail, nice eateries. Check out the steampunk sculptures in town.

Seaview Cottage

Located north of Thames along the picturesque Pacific Coast Highway, Te Puru holds one of the great holiday get-away’s, Seaview Cottage. Te Puru is a quiet, peaceful place with great views of the Sunset. Our beautiful 1 bedroom cottage has fabulous modern facilities, a fully equipped kitchen, living-room and bbq area and its only a few steps to the beach. In addition the cottage is within walking distance to the local dairy, parks, boat-ramp and open tennis courts.

The Bus Depot.

The Bus Depot is a rustic retreat overlooking the beautiful firth of Thames. A beautifully restored 1979 Bedford bus which has all the modern comforts but still retains original features of the bus, this area has sleeping for two along with kitchen area, fridge, gas stove and a dining area on the covered deck. From the daybed to the loft space or going for a walk on the farm or just sitting in front of the fire you can enjoy the views at this outstanding location.

Sea La Vie A slice of paradise

Welcome to our beautiful part of the country! Our house is situated in close walking proximity to many amenities such as the Village where there are great restaurants and shops (450m) or visit the Flatwhite on Shaw road for coffee and cake or something more elaborate right on the beach front. Over the summer months (Labour weekend until Easter) there is a Sunday market selling local produce, arts and crafts from 8 am - 1 pm at the Wilson reserve just up the road.

Brand new self contained Studio with covered deck area, opening onto fully fenced sunny garden, private from neighbours. Short walk to Main Beach, Estuary and Nine Hole Golf Course. Whangamata is suitable for all water sports, walking, tramping, biking etc Our township hosts general shopping, cafes and restaurants.
