The house is naturally sheltered from the predominant westerly wind meaning you can make the most of the outdoor space. The beach is only a 5 minute walk away and the stream provides safe swimming areas for children.

This modern, architecturally designed suite with its own private entrance is nestled amongst peaceful bush surrounds in Remuera and overlooks the Orakei Basin inlet. It has comfortable furnishings, a fully-equipped kitchen, underfloor bathroom heating, under sheet electric blankets and a spacious grassy outdoor area with a path that leads down to the water's edge. It is close to bus and train, local cafes, a shopping centre and a walking track that surrounds the Orakei Basin.

Our waterfront accommodation is a great place to relax and unwind conveniently located overlooking the picturesque Putiki Bay. Sit on the deck and watch the sunset across the bay. The bay is a tidal and is a great spot for kayaking, paddle-boarding and swimming at high tide. With private waterfront views, the cottage is in with in easy reach of the islands beaches and local amenities, with the Ostend market and supermarket only 10 min walk.

Cooks Beach Studio Escape

A little update for our lovely guests. This studio, as shown in the main photos, is available for stays until 30 April. In May we’ll be closing briefly while we create a beautiful new, larger 30sqm studio in its place. From 1 June, guests will enjoy the brand new space, thoughtfully designed and finished to the same high standard and relaxed coastal style you know and love. Luxury Waterfront Apartment - Spa pool & Kayaks

We are excited to welcome our guests to relax at our beautiful, luxurious, well appointed and completely self contained 2 bedroom waterfront apartment with outdoor covered spa pool and situated directly on the water. Please note that this apartment is self-catering and that the 3 person spa takes a while to warm up, so remember to switch it on in time if you want to use it. Kim
