The Jillaroo's Hut

Shearers Quarters - Bendleby Ranges

Our Shearers Cottage is a beautiful fully self contained cottage. It is the perfect place for families or large groups to come together, accomodating for up to 16 guests. Relax and take in all our property has to offer from 4WD tracks, Bushwalking and Cycling to taking in the stunning views at sunset from one of our picturesque viewing areas. Bendleby Ranges is also home to world-class star gazing and has some rich and unique history as a working sheep station over the last 4 generations.

It is an ideal base to explore the magnificent Flinders Ranges and is right on the doorstep of the world renowned Wilpena Pound. The house is very well appointed as it has only just been fully refurbished. This property will allow you to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

A picturesque rustic stone homestead on 200 acres located on the Willochra Plains, a couple of kms from the historic town of Bruce. Approximately 40 minute drive from beautiful Melrose and Mount Remarkable, and a 20 minute drive to historic Quorn, home to the world famous Pichi Richi Railway. The homestead consists of 3 bedrooms, a well equipped country style kitchen with AC and wood fire, bathroom with inside toilet, sun lounge with a small bar and main lounge with reverse cycle AC.

Mount Little Station is just 15 mins from Hawker via The Outback Highway. We are a working cattle and sheep station as well as offering tourist accommodation and a station life experience. Mount Little Station offers your own private access to Mayo Gorge and the Elder Range to discover, explore and appreciate our ever-changing environment and landscape.
