The Blue Cow Barn - Betsie Cottage

The Blue Cow Barn Accommodation is situated on a working farm, 1km from Barrydale town centre. Our farm has gone through many seasons - from a fruit farm to a dairy farm and now a guest farm. Our cottages are named after the cows that were part of the dairy and Betsie is our most flamboyant and eccentric cottage and cow. You'll love this cottage as it is situated in the original farm barn that dates back to the 1960's and the gorgeous mountain view. This cottage also has access to the hot tub.

Wolwekraal Bed & Breakfast is situated halfway between Port Elizabeth & Cape Town on the N2, 5.5 km east of Albertinia. The adjacent nature reserve provides numerous foot-path routes through the indigenous Fynbos. From the balcony you may have some early morning sightings of small antelope and other animals as well as an abundance of bird life.

Marshall Farm on the river

Marshall Farm is a traditional thatch family-friendly farmhouse in Vermaaklikheid. The farmhouse is 30 yards from the river, and has an enchanting beautiful wind free outdoor lounge area on a jetty connecting you to the river. The Duiwenshok River is one of the Overberg’s best kept secrets, approximately 3,5 hours from the bustle of Cape Town, this delightful hideaway is seemingly untouched by the hand of time.

When we first opened our spot we were truly over the hills and far away... now the village has grown around us a bit, but the place can still feel pretty secluded. The architect-designed house mixes inside/outside space with plenty of room for family.. Explore wetland, river and the Langeberg mountains. With plenty of comforts this spot is paradise for children, dogs and a retreat for adults.

Strawberry Hill Lodge, Grootvadersbosch

Fully-equipped, luxury self-catering house with spectacular mountain views from every window. Four very large bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and beautiful finishes. All the rooms have their own fireplaces and we stock extra luxuries, such as locally-produced Rain Products. A perfect place to relax or to use as a base to explore the mountains.

The Heidelberger Self-catering Guest Suite

The Self-catering apartment for your exclusive use consists of two rooms (4 x 3.5m each), an open plan lounge, dining area, fully-equipped kitchen (5 x 4m) and a bathroom (4 x 2m). The Couples Room contains a queen-size bed and the Family Room contains a double bed and a bunk bed. Sleeps 6 max.

The Studio @ The Place

Escape to our retreat for nature lovers, in the magical untouched Klein Karoo, easily accessible from Route62 and the N2. The Studio is comfortable, modern and open plan with private shaded outdoor seating, spectacular views, a plunge pool and free wifi. It sleeps 4 plus two children.

Reclusive cottage Suurbraak

Just outside of Swellendam, peacefully nestled at the foothills of the lush and beautiful Langeberg Mountains, lies the picturesque little town of Suurbraak. On the other side of the river, is the quaint self-catering cottage of Bibi and Peter.
