Our lovely farmhouse is minutes from Lake Lemon, Griffey Lake, Indiana University & many spots in Bloomington. Conveniently not far from I-69, we're 20 minutes away from Nashville. This is a basement apartment with private bedroom, private bathroom, large living/dining area, & kitchenette. Shared front door & ~10 steps inside main floor. The ranch is 50+ acres with 8+ acres of woods for hiking, pastures with cattle, a heated pool & patio area, & a beautiful front porch looking over the ranch.

This room is a good value. It is close enough to Indianapolis yet peaceful, clean, quiet, and private. We are: 7.1 miles (10 minutes) from Indianapolis international airport. 18 miles (26 minutes) from downtown Indianapolis, 17miles (20 min drive) from Indianapolis convention center and Lucas stadium. 35 miles (52 minutes) from Indiana University in Bloomington. ~3 miles from I-70. Located in Brown County just over a mile north (or "A Stone's Throw") of the quaint Village of Nashville, IN. Your home away from home is in a quiet rural neighborhood where you are just minutes from shopping, restaurants, art galleries, music venues and all kinds of outdoor activities. The owner lives full time in the upper level with her service dog Jessie but you will probably never see her unless they are out in the yard playing fetch or working in the garden.

The Lodge at Treetop Retreat

The Lodge at Treetop Retreat is a former recording studio with an AMAZING view! Set atop one of the highest hills in Brown County, this huge space boasts 20 ft ceilings in the open concept great room. With an indoor, jetted, spa tub, gas fireplace (seasonal), pool table, and lots of open indoor space, this is a cool place to unwind. King bed downstairs, and two queen beds in the loft. A front porch with porch swing, and back deck with chairs, and a charcoal grill.

Enjoy a stay of charm and heritage at a 1906 Brown County home known as Helmsburg Station. It was originally owned by the Helm's of Helmsburg, IN and has been completely renovated from the exterior walls inward during 2019. Helmsburg Station pays tribute to the history of its quaint location as the original direct route from Indianapolis to Brown County via the railroad line. From Helmsburg, the rest of the route to Nashville was by horse and wagon or by foot.
