Cabin 34 is a lovely wooden log cabin situated directly on the Botriver lagoon. It is within the Meerenbosch development of Middevlei nature reserve, which is +- 20km before Hermanus . The cabin is nestled between the Milkwood trees and has a stunning view of the lagoon and distant mountains. Wake up to the sounds of lapping water and surrounding bird life. It is a perfect romantic getaway for a couple or a relaxing retreat for a family who loves nature, water, tranquility and the outdoors.

Birdsong

This delightful house is tucked away in a grove of trees overlooking the Vermont Saltpan,which is a bird sanctuary. Recent solar panels on the roof feed into a battery and inverter system. Loadshedding is no longer an issue. This tastefully furnished, four bedroom home, is fully equipped caters for upto 8 guests. The perfect place to getaway from it. The Saltpan is fed only by rainfall and run-off from the mountains and in years when there has been low rainfall the pan often dries out.

Offers amazing entertainment area, perfect for lazy breakfasts and barbecue in the evenings. Close to family-friendly activities and walking distance from lovely restaurants and even a cocktail bar. Wifi, 1 plate gas stove and chargeable lights available during loadshedding. The house comes fully decorated and furnished as seen on pictures.

The wild horses often graze in front of the cabin and at times there are hundreds of terns and flamingos! Fully equipped for self-catering.
