Our home is located on 5 acres in the middle of farms yet we are 10 minutes from shopping and a large variety of restaurants. Tampa International Airport is 50 minutes away so we have the best of both worlds. We enjoy the quiet beauty of the countryside but can be in Tampa for theatre in minutes. Hernando county boasts of some of the best golf courses in the area. We have a walking/biking trail 2 minutes from the house. Two State parks are 10 miles away and are a great way to spend the day.

The "Chubby Mermaid" is a brand new (2020) manatee themed 3/2 waterfront home on a pristine canal just yards away from the Weeki Wachee River. Manatees frequent the canal year round. Charming 1941 river cottage with the feel of old Florida , but is updated with modern comforts. The neighborhood quiet and feels secluded, but is just 5 min from major grocery stores and restaurants. The house is located just outside of the Weeki Wachee River( a short 10 min Kayak or Canoe ride.) The front of the house has a large protected wooded area. We have see deer, wild boar, owls and wild turkeys. In the back we have seen otters, turtles, various fish, and of course manatees
