Relax in a delightful country house, based on traditional Kapstyl architectural heritage, River Shell House oozes charm & simplicity for unfussed holidays and getaways in a beautiful riverine setting. A wood-fired KolKol hot tub on the deck, is perfect for relaxation after a hard day of doing nothing or fishing ;) The house is on the Duiwenhoks river, 10 km from the estuary mouth, on opposite side of river to the village of Vermaaklikheid, and sleeps 10 in spacious, uncluttered simplicity.

Oppie-Strand: Best spot on the beach

Step out from your front door onto the sand. The house is centrally situated on the main swimming beach halfway between the tranquil river mouth and quaint harbour. Come enjoy the fresh ocean air in a beach house that is to be enjoyed by family and friends, a perfect hideaway from city life. It is unashamedly a beach duplex with modern conveniences. Note steep internal stairs. A duplex offering 4 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. We can sleep 7 but the house is more comfortable for a smaller group.

Situated right on the banks of the Breede River, it's the perfect setting for a peaceful river getaway!

Nestled along the Goukou River, our spacious family home offers a tranquil getaway. With two living areas, and indoor and outdoor braai's (bbq), it's perfect for group getaways. The home features two mezzanine master suites and four additional bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. Enjoy direct river access with a boat jetty, ideal for water activities. The Old Oke Riverhouse

Come and stay in the first container home in Malgas! Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Rolling lawn and river access, use one of our stand up paddle boards or the Kayak and enjoy the river directly from our jetty. A brand new entertainment section that leads off the outside decking which has comfy chairs, a big braai and separate fire pit is also now available at The Old Oke Riverhouse along with a jetty which has padding to protect your boat. Now with HOT TUB!

Breede River Cottage is only rented out a few times a year as it’s our special place and we want to ensure it remains a home from home, the place we can go to switch off from our busy city lives. Wakeing up early to the tranquil sounds of the birds, enjoying your first cup of coffee and contemplating the fun for the day, is what makes it special. Ski, Sup, Paddle, Fish, MTB or alternatively just relax & read a book, just do whatever recharges you, the options are endless 😎

Stone Cottage is a beautifully appointed original stone cottage situated on Long Thin Farm. Nestled in behind a small, picturesque olive grove a little further up the hill & offers beautiful views of the river & surrounding farmland. The riverfront is accessible from the cottages by taking a short stroll few hundred yards sloping down through the vines & olive orchards. 2 Bedrooms, bathroom, open plan kitchen,lounge and dining area. Fireplace and braai patio.

Waterryk is Perfect for nature lovers, spring water flows throughout the house, cows in the pastures and roosters to wake you up. With all the fresh air, you will struggle to find a better nights sleep. Wood is supplied for all the braai areas. Waterryk is Perfect for couples, business travelers, and families (with kids). Situated a short 6km from town, it is an easy ride to the beach, or into town, but far enough to still feel relaxed.

The farmhouse is 30 yards from the river, and has an enchanting beautiful wind free outdoor lounge area on a jetty connecting you to the river. The Duiwenshok River is one of the Overberg’s best kept secrets, approximately 3,5 hours from the bustle of Cape Town, this delightful hideaway is seemingly untouched by the hand of time.

Private little cottage in the field away from all the buzz. Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Just 5.5km gravel road. If very wet, you need a Suv or4 x 4 vehicle. All off the grid with no Eskom, no wi-fi, no tv. Only solar for lights, gas for hot water, stove and fridge/freezer. Wood for barbecue and fireplace.
