Mountain Escape Chalet Summersville, WV

Our chalet is only a few minutes to Summersville Lake and the Gauley River. You’ll love our chalet it is Private, Relaxing, has Gas Log Fireplace, Hot Tub, Loaded kitchen, provides linens, bedding, pillows, towels, laundry room and full bathroom. Large deck, with Picnic Table and Gas Grill. Fire pit. We are in the heart of whitewater rafting country, Zip lines, horse back riding, four wheeling and hiking. Minutes to Summersville, parks and restaurants. We have breathtaking views of the stars.

Hamilton House

1950's renovated house with lots of original character next to Hawks Nest State Park and close to 2 more State Parks, in a quiet neighborhood and within a few minutes to all the New River Gorge National Park has to offer. 15 minutes from historic Fayetteville and the New River Gorge Bridge, central to whitewater rafting and rock climbing companies. We have 3 outdoor spaces and a bbq area. Our covered deck is 18' long and has a picnic table and other seating and the front porch has a nice swing

The Little Green Guest House

We picked the perfect location for exploring New River Gorge! We actually live here and LOVE it. Over the last 2 years, we completely rebuilt this Little Guest House from the ground up while exploring and putting together the local's ultimate guidebook of the area. Our goal was to make a cozy and cute cottage to highlight why we love WV so much. We strive for eco-friendly practices because we want to see this place clean and thriving for our kids and visitors to enjoy for years to come.

Hemlock -Luxury cabin on the rim of Gauley Canyon

My place is close to New River Gorge, Gauley River, & Summersville Lake. The Hemlock House is located on our 300 acre farm bordering The Gauley River National Recreation Area with direct access to both the Gauley and Meadow rivers. A gorgeous home in a stunning & private location. We have private trails, access to rivers right here on the property. Close by there is whitewater rafting, mountain biking, boating, golfing, climbing, & fishing. 20 minutes to outstanding restaurants.

INSIDE THE NATIONAL PARK. The Cabin on Pennington Hill is the perfect rustic cabin for a couple or small group of 4. Set on top of a hill overlooking a beautiful pond, this cabin will give you a taste of the West Virginia outdoors. The perfect affordable base camp for outdoor enthusiasts. You'll spend most of your time outside enjoying the deck and the view but when you move inside you'll have a comfortable queen bed and a futon to sleep on. A basic kitchen has everything you need.

Summersville Lake Rd Cabin - Pet Friendly!

Experience the serenity of West Virginia in a beautiful cabin, less than 5 minutes from Summersville Lake. It is perfectly situated, with the feeling of being in the woods while still located near all town's amenities. Summers offer close access to outdoor adventures like fishing, hiking, rafting, biking and so much more. Winters are peaceful and cozy in the cabin surrounded by snowy mountains. There is ample parking for larger groups. We do have Wi-Fi and decent cell coverage!

Granny's shack- 5 miles from Babcock state park

Remote but accessible small cozy family home/cabin with 2-bedroom and 1 bath. 2 twin beds, 1 queen, and 1 pull out couch. Quiet and peaceful with woods surrounding area on 2 acres. House was built in the 1960's but some renovations have been done on the inside. Near route 60 off of old route 41. Located 5 miles from Babcock state park, 15 miles from New River Gorge Bridge, and 2 miles from Clifftop. This is a weekend getaway for our family, we do not live on the premises.

Cozy Cottage On Quiet Country Lane

Located just ten minutes from Summersville Lake and the Gauley River, this cozy one bedroom guest house is the perfect base camp for lazy lake days or exploring our newest national park. Wind your way down a small country lane to your cottage where you'll find a queen size bed and futon for your family of four. The hammock next to a pond and fire pit helps make memories to last a lifetime. Boat or trailer parking is available. Kayaks available for the lake or river.

The Pond at Mt Nebo - a 16 acre retreat

Located near Summersville Lake, the Gauley River, Summersville Sate Park, New River Gorge National Park and Preserve and Fayetteville, my house sits on 16 acres to relax and get away from it all. My goal is to make the house comfortable but still have all you need to feel at home and hang out with your friends and family. I have owned this place for 17 years and have been wanting to share this place with others to experience this great place.
