This well-planned space provides everything you need to support your New River Gorge adventures while maintaining a small but luxurious footprint. This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Get comfortable with super-insulation, ventilation and a cozy heat pump. Curl up in the loft on a memory foam mattress. Enjoy the bamboo floors and solar power.

INSIDE THE NATIONAL PARK. The Cabin on Pennington Hill is the perfect rustic cabin for a couple or small group of 4. Set on top of a hill overlooking a beautiful pond, this cabin will give you a taste of the West Virginia outdoors. The perfect affordable base camp for outdoor enthusiasts. You'll spend most of your time outside enjoying the deck and the view but when you move inside you'll have a comfortable queen bed and a futon to sleep on. A basic kitchen has everything you need.

Molly Moocher

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape at Molly Moocher, a tiny house nestled among boulders in Wild and Wonderful West Virginia. 7 minutes from the Gauley River and Summersville lake. 19 minutes to the New River National Park. Located on 100 private acres with hiking trails. Relax in the hot tub or at the boulder-top fire pit. My wife and I live locally. Enjoy your time in the trees! Hear the white water rapids of the Gauley from our front deck as you take in the scenic views of the forest. Truly, a one of a kind experience. Our treehouse is located in Boulder Trail, which is on over 100 acres of private land. It also includes a common area with a covered shelter, with an outdoor Fireplace that’s a short walk away. We are located 5 minutes from Summersville Lake and 15 minutes from New River Gorge National Park!

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This 1800's, picturesque, log cabin is located just feet from the newest 'National Park'. The New River Gorge National Park and Preserve. Only 2/10's of a mile from The Endless Wall Trail, an easy 5-minute walk from the cabin. If you are an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, biking, rock-climbing, white-water rafting, etc..., or just want to get away from the big city, you're not going to find a better place.

Lucky Penny Camper with Mountain View By New River

Cozy getaway tucked into the coal mining "holler" of Cunard/Brooklyn, the Lucky Penny is just up the road from the Cunard New River Access as well as walking distance to several National Park trails. Get away from the city, experience a real WV neighborhood, have a campfire, enjoy the lovely mountain view and starry sky, and recharge. The heat pump keeps it cozy even in zero degree temps! (Bring some cozy socks though. =)

Cute 1-BR stone cottage close to NRG

When visiting the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, stay at this quaint stone cottage less than a mile off of Route 19 in downtown Oak Hill, WV. Things to Note: This little cottage has skylights upstairs, so light floods into this space from sunrise to sundown. Also, the mattress is firm. Finally, the hot water is provided via a tankless hot water heater, which has been known to cause water temperature variability.
