The guesthouse has dual paned windows, no shared walls, and the yard is fully protected with a stone wall for privacy and security. Waterhaven is a quiet, peaceful, relaxing experience.

Mike's House and Garden

The care taken to honor the atmosphere of the original 1910 house creates a feeling of another time and place. The house is secluded in a prize winning garden and approached through a stone pergola. The Craftsman furniture, lighting and antique Persian carpets reflect a distant and captivating sensibility. This house has been featured in three books and “American Bungalow” magazine. The garden was mentioned in Sunset Magazine and featured as one of the premier gardens of University Heights.

Located in the historic Hillcrest neighborhood of San Diego, just blocks from the famous Balboa Park, and San Diego Zoo, Casa Feliz (Happy House) is an adults only retreat and perfect place to enjoy your San Diego stay. A cozy 730 square foot fully private studio apartment that includes your own living space, bathroom, and kitchen accessed by your own private entrance and patio.
