The O2 Yurt

Pinecone cottage, completely private, nestled on farmland and 100% off grid. Arrive to a wood-fired hot tub, steaming with fresh Fiordland spring water to soak the day away Friendly sheep, alpacas and calves will be close for pats and photos. Games are provided or simply relax beneath the stars. Sleep well in the king bed with soft linen, and enjoy our bird song..and maybe see the wild deer run past. We are a green, eco friendly and completely sustainable accommodation choice.

Black's Hut - Lakefront Cottage

Black's Hut sits on the shores of Lake Te Anau with expansive uninterrupted views of Fiordland. Built in 2022 with quality fixtures and furnishings, entertainment system and hot tub. Excellent unlimited wifi. Black's Hut has been specifically set up to accommodate adults with two separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Extremely private with extensive plantings. Bike track and reserve between the cottage and lake. Just a 15 minute walk along the lakefront to shops and cafes.

Inside the Square

Overlooking Fergus Square, our unit is newly renovated and decorated. Stacker doors open onto a covered deck for outdoor relaxing. Fully insulated and with a heat pump, you will be warm and comfortable no matter the weather. Just a few minutes walk to the lake, and 5 minutes walk to shops, cafés and bars, the location is perfect! Beautiful lake, spectacular mountains and easily accessed walking tracks. We look forward to sharing Te Anau with you.

Catch a beautiful sunset or star gaze in the hot tub within private garden surrounds. Perfect for couples or single travellers.

The Fox and Fantail

A functional, comfortable tiny home close to the centre of town and the lake. Enjoy relaxing on the spacious deck. A 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive to the centre of town (1.1km) and 10 minutes walk to a great swimming spot at the lake. The property is shared with the hosts but the tiny home is self-contained. Off-street parking, in our driveway, directly in front of the tiny house. There is no TV.

Takahe's Nest - very close to the lake in Te Anau.

PLEASE NOTE_ Owing to staff holidays it is not possible to accept a check in on Christmas Day (25th December). You can depart on Christmas day or later if required. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway just a stroll to the shores of Lake Te Anau and a 90 minute drive to the world renowned Milford Sound, although you may wish to allow more time for photo opportunities!
