LOCATED IN VOLCANO, just 1 mile from the entrance to Volcanoes National Park! This suite is great for couples traveling with kids as it offers guests a queen-sized bed, and a twin daybed, with electric blankets. The cozy historic bathroom with a pedestal sink has a walk-in shower. This two-room suite offers guests the quiet and simple elegance of a 1930s kamaaina home. The living room has an outside entrance that opens onto a private lanai.

As of October 1, 2023 we will be running as a Bed and Breakfast and will be serving continental breakfast! The bedroom is fully furnished including a Cal King bed. The room is on the 2nd floor of this large 6 bedroom house situated on 3 acres of tranquil Hawaii paradise. Includes fast WiFi, cable and towels. Close to Hilo and Volcano National Park. Our home is not suitable for children under 12 years old.

The Bamboo Room has a private sitting terrace, and ocean views across our saltwater lagoon. Wildlife! King bed, en suite bath w. tub/shower, flatscreen TV, carved door, ceiling fan, small frig.. The suite is very spacious (500 sq/ft), located less than one mile to downtown Hilo on a private 1.7 acre property. The house is accented with hardwood floors and tastefully furnished including a queen size bed. The room has a private entrance, private bathroom and private deck overlooking a beautiful valley with a small waterfall. The unit has access to a covered gazebo with a shared BBQ cooking area.
