Designed by 1 + 2 Architects and built by VOS our home won a HIA award in 2005. Part of our brief to the architects was to design a part of the home where our guests could have complete privacy and feel spoilt . It has become a sanctuary for many people . Recently our local renowned Interior Designer has visited the apartment . The result is spectacular and calming . Quality furniture is enhanced by soft furnishings from Adairs. Professionally laundered bed linen adds to the sense of luxury.

Easy walking to Battery Point, Salamanca, Hobart waterfront and city centre. The perfect retreat to explore Hobart and beyond, minutes walk away from public transport, including the Airporter Shuttle Bus. A haven for weary voyagers seeking refuge after a day of exploring and it is my home in between voyagers visits.

The modern studio is nestled in a luxurious garden providing a sense of serenity at the rear of our 130-year-old heritage house. Warm up next to the wood-fire after a short stroll to the local restaurants, bars and cafes located in North Hobart. Situated within 1.9km of the CBD and 2.8km to Salamanca waterfront, there is a bus stop at the end of the street. A microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and fridge are provided for your convenience, as well as a BBQ on your private deck.

Mandalay Stable is located one street from Salamanca - the heart of Battery Point. Location is a short walk to the docks, numerous cafes, restaurants and wine bars. Its competitively priced, self contained and has everything you need to use as a base to explore our fabulous harbour city. Enjoy easy walking access to everything from this perfectly located studio. The original Cottage once served as the first North Hobart Post & Telegraph Office and has been recently renovated to accommodate guests. It is an upstairs studio with it's own entrance. It is warm, spacious, comfortable and self contained. The studio connects to a second separate bedroom which can be made available for additional guests. There is an outside deck for the exclusive use of guests.
