Super fast high speed internet. Roku tv's. Peaceful front porch with rocking chairs and very tranquil view.

The Blue Heron Guest House is a great place to just get away, enjoy nature, canoe (provided), fish the pond or the bayou, birdwatching (lots of birds), etc. The property does have a boat slip and a small boat launch for those who want to explore the area by boat. Bayou Manchac connects to the Amite River nearby. We can’t wait to share our paradise with you!

This tiny home has trees surrounding the property and sits off the road. Yet it is only 4 miles from I-12 interstate. It is located close to the town of Livingston where you will find groceries, hardware, restaurants, fuel, etc. Outdoor gazebo and fire pit in common area. It is centrally located between Hammond and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. An easy drive to everywhere you want to be! Plus, it’s fully loaded with everything you will need.

This home is a quaint, waterfront oasis, with space to enjoy friends and family inside or outside. It is just minutes by foot, car and/or boat to restaurants, bars and many water events. With prior notification to host you may have full access to onsite boat slip. Depending on size of boats slip can host up to 2 boats at one time. Come and see why this is OUR happy place, and it could quickly become your happy place.

Please read detailed description of property before booking. Set in a 22 acre parcel on the Natalbany River 6.5 miles from downtown Hammond. This building has been built with mostly reclaimed, reused and upcycled materials. The rustic interior walls are clad in huge boards milled on the property after Katrina damage. Note the unusual shower with handmade tiles. There are other unique structures on property.

Silverware is 5 of each, teaspoon, tablespoon, fork, butter knife in all cabins. We provide soaps, dishwashing pods, dishwasher. spare toilet paper and paper towels. Equipped with Smoke detectors, 2 cutting boards and cooking utensils is all cabins.
