Cliffs of Moher Charming Quirky Cottage

Quirky elevated cottage called Tigeen, little house in Irish. It is hard to adequately describe the beauty of the setting of this cottage, I fell in love with it before ever being inside. It is totally private without being isolated, it is on its own little hill overlooking the bay of Liscannor and within walking distance to the Cliffs. Inside the walls are 3-foot-thick with the cottage being over 200 years old and has hand -made interior wooden shutters to cover the large light filled windows.

Stunning countryside location with seaview. It’s only a five minute drive to Lahinch and ten minute drive to Cliffs of Moher and Doolin. Double bed and foldout bed along with comfortable seating area. Studio is brand new and it’s a garage conversion. Ballindooley Castle

The Castle rests on about half an acre of land with Ballindooley Lake lying to the south west. It is surrounded by low walls and hedges: with a gated entrance controlled by an electronic security system. Features include 3 murders holes and a dungeon The castle was built by the DeBurgo family (approximately 1480). It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels
