The Miner's Cabin

Great getaway cabin with easy access to Charcoal Gulch & other trails of the Boise Nat Forest. Cabin is just 1 mile from The Springs & historic Idaho City. Enjoy hiking, birding, & mtn biking during the day, then spend the night at our classic Miner’s Log Cabin heated by a wood stove (firewood supplied). Loft accessible by ladder only. Minimum stay 2 nights. Wifi access, T-Mobile cell tower. Cabin on 5-acre parcel shared with another log home. Will need 4WD to access cabin in winter. No pets.

Just a little over an hour north of Boise, this dog friendly mountain retreat with a fire pit and community owned geothermal hot tub and pool is a perfect quick getaway. Spend you weekend on the local 18 hole golf course, hike, ATV, raft the Payette, swim in the pool or just barbecue and relax as the kids roast marshmallows. This one bedroom cabin has queen bed in the master bedroom and loft area contains a queen, two twins and a couch. 4-wheel drive is necessary in the winter months

The home is just outside Boise National Forest in Wildlife Canyon and an hour out of Eagle, Meridian and Boise. Guests will have access to the entire home. Choice of bedroom, either main floor or second floor. Bedrooms have an elegant walk-in shower. The second floor has two bedrooms, a kitchenette with mini frig, microwave, electric skillet, toaster oven and Kuerig and a deck with a hot tub, grill and bar height table and seating for four.

Our property is located outside of the town of Caldwell in a county setting. Our neighbors on both sides have farm animals making for a unique experience. We are minutes from multiple golf courses. Shopping is 10-15 minutes away. Boise Airport is about a 30 minute drive. And the Oregon border is a stone’s throw from here. Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun.
