We are certain Wally could never have imagined the potential the little house held. Be amazed at the awesome decor. Two bedrooms, one with queen bed, other with twin over full and a stunning bathroom. The showstopper is the beautiful living/ kitchen area with glowing tin ceIlings. The Parsonage 1873 - No Fees!

Make your trip unforgettable! Step back into the Wild West, the early days of Hays City! One of the oldest homes still standing from the early days of Hays, built in 1873. This two bedroom, two bath, has been renovated to reflect the rough and tumble, primitive days in Hays City. With modern amenities such as, but not limited to, heated floors, air conditioning, walk in showers, a large antique soaking tub, coffee, king and queen beds. Historic photos and books make for an interesting stay!

The Roost

1930's Limestone chicken house converted to a cabin. 1/4 mile off a paved highway. Interior space is 46 feet x 11 feet, with sloping ceiling. Tiled shower with built in seat.(No tub.) Fully appointed kitchen. Beautiful views of the Smoky Hills. Several acres of native grassland with running stream to explore. Deer, turkey, bird watching, and other wildlife. If you are going walking, wear appropriate footwear. See the stars without city lights and enjoy the unbelievable quiet.

The Trinity House

Beautiful home (3 bedroom, 3 bath) on a nice cul-de-sac in quiet neighborhood. Just 1 mile off of I70 and walking distance of Aubel Bickel park. Fenced in backyard with play-set. Garage and driveway parking available. Free wifi and Roku TVs. Super comfortable beds! King in master bedroom, Guest bedroom has twin with trundle. Queen bed in downstairs bedroom. Two large sectional couches. Early check in or late check out for $20/hr (if we can accommodate). Sorry no pets.

#1 - North Fork Horse Ranch - King bed

North Fork Ranch offers a relaxing atmosphere with the scenic beauty of rural Kansas. The overnight accommodations offer a quiet getaway where travelers can relax in the comfort of their air-conditioned/heated rustic room in the loft of the ranch barn. The backyard view is memorizing with gently rolling hills, abundant wildlife, and wide-open spaces. On our working farm, with various animals on-site, next to a major highway and an active rail-road track, The LQ is loaded with amenities for both hunters and travelers. Cozy Farmhouse Cottage

Right off highway 24. Vintage reminders throughout this cozy farmhouse of a simpler time. A kitchen to please any cook! Enjoy a quiet moment on the old front porch. Lots of parking! Can accommodate large trailers. A touch of western lore, located midway between Denver and Kansas City and situated on the Solomon river valley. This house is stocked with amenities Grocery 2 blocks away. 3 TV’s, WIFI and Roku. Ceiling fans and floor fans for your comfort.

The Cabin

The Cabin is located in the small, rural town of Brewster, just off Interstate 70 between Colby and Goodland. It is furnished with a double bed and futon on the lower level and a twin bed in the loft. The loft is accessible via a pull-down ladder. A mini-fridge, Keurig, and microwave available. No wifi or TV, a playground nearby, three blocks from a small grocery store that serves meals, but the days and times vary with the seasons.

High Plains Hideaway
