Walk to Town + Redwoods from the Bayview Bungalow

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located place, within a 15-minute walk to downtown Arcata and Cal Poly Humboldt and the Redwood forest. You'll relax in a peaceful setting up on the hill, looking out across the city, and enjoying the sunsets. Plus, you're a 2-minute walk to the jaw-dropping Redwood Park! Features a private entrance, a fully enclosed patio, full kitchen, full-size washer and dryer, a king-size bed in the bedroom, and a full-size pull-out couch/bed in the living room.

Blue Lake Sanctuary

Surrounded by pastures, it's a short walk to the Mad River for swims and walks. The Mad River Brewery is less than a mile up the road. Excellent mountain biking is 1 mile away. In a 15 minute drive you can find the hip town of Arcata, surrounded by redwoods and hiking as well as a majestic coastline. Sundays 10 am to noon we host a family friendly ecstatic dance in the studio adjacent to the apartment. Expect music at that time. Come join us! Public Yoga classes are Tuesday & Saturday am.

Spend time among the redwoods near the fish pond in our elegant modern retreat with many artistic custom elements. Let the tension from the road melt away in our hot tub and spa like rain shower, then relax on our comfortable California King beds. Located in an upscale quiet neighborhood in the hills above Arcata, near extensive redwood hiking trails. Unwind in our sheltered outdoor living room, with a fire pit by the pond. Please keep voices low out of consideration for the neighbors.

Cocooned by Redwoods, Sitka Spruce and Huckleberries. A ladder leads you to the cozy sleeping loft, where you can gaze at the stars through the two huge skylights. Just down the steps across the OUTDOOR LIVING ROOM, step into the "Shower Grotto", inside an Old Growth Redwood Stump with a Rain Shower.

The sanctuary is a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom guest house with a full kitchen and bathroom. We are located within a 5 minute drive to the beach, and 30 minutes away from Redwood State and National Parks. Perfect launch location for hiking, surfing, cycling and enjoying this amazing place. Enjoy our beautiful quiet space for relaxation and renewal.

Very short distance up the road to many unique Humboldt beaches, Trinidad, Redwood National park. Arcata and Eureka just south 7 and 15 min.
