Located off the Back of the Dragon Trail & bordered by Hungry Mother State Park along with George Washington & Jefferson National Forest. Nearby multiple wilderness areas, superb mountain stream fishing, small lake fishing, swimming area & beach, wildlife management areas & miles of trails offer tons of natural amenities and outdoor opportunities.

Step back in time with this original 1890s Appalachian solar powered off grid cabin. The cabin has been renovated with all the modern conveniences: solar-powered and includes hot water, gas stove, full bathroom w/ shower, refrigerator, sleeper sofa folds out to queen size bed. With each stay fresh towels and linens are furnished. Kitchen, hot/cold kitchen sink, K cup friendly coffee machine and more! Covered front porch with bench and 2 rockers. Off the porch is a picnic table and gas grill.

You can purchase beef, pork, and chicken to cook while you’re here or bring a cooler and take some home.

Explore the creek, relax in the sauna, and enjoy the privacy of a secluded, two-acre tract adjoining the Jefferson National Forest, near Grayson Highlands’ wild ponies and White Top’s famed Creeper Trail. Our Fisherman cabin has two bedrooms with queen sized beds, one full bathroom, and sleeps four guests. The front of the cabin faces the river and the back is just steps from the Creeper Trail.
