Peaceful getaway on Lake Tawakoni surrounded by over 3 acres of private woods. Feels like a sanctuary with birds chirping softly and a cool lake breeze flowing. Fish for the tons of catfish on our private boat dock and fishing pier, enjoy the grill on the picnic area before a breathtaking sunset, and make s’mores around the campfire in our outdoor fire pit. Beautiful lake views can also be seen while relaxing in bed indoors. This amazing retreat is less than 1-hour drive from downtown Dallas.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway at Sweet Magnolia Retreat. There are 4 spacious bedrooms that sleeps up to 14 guests with a jacuzzi in the master. You will find that our beautiful living room captures the best sunset above the serene lake water. There are many outdoor activities you can do in a large gated backyard and a deck for picnics and cookouts. Our backyard will lead you to the fishing pier where you can relax and enjoy the open lake water as well as kayak and swim.

Lake Front Cabins: 1.5 acres, zip line, SUP, kayak

Escape from work and daily life! Our property is ideal for family gatherings and friend get-a-aways, but also suitable for a couples retreat, it offers a main cabin and a tiny house (that sleeps 4, available for an additional fee) on 1.5 acres of beautiful tree-filled lake front space for you to roam, play, and be fully present in the company of your fellow cabin mates. There are no shortage of activities 2 standup paddle boards, 2 kayaks, zip line, ninja set and lots of yard games.

Private Dock, Boat Lift, Fire Pit & Patio

Lake Front property with everything your friends and family need. Fish, paddle board or kayak, swim, hang out by the fire pit, or relax under the pavilion. This newly remodeled 3-bedroom 2 bath home has an open floorpan with views overlooking the lake. Relax in the screened in porch and take in the amazing sunsets. Hang out in the game room (detached from home) with pool table, dart board and two sofa beds . Cast a line off the dock or use the two paddle boards and one kayak provided

Grill a nice dinner & soak up all that Mother Nature has to offer of our little slice of heaven here, from the oversized a-framed porch.

Have fun with the family at this stylish fully remodeled cottage. Plenty of outdoor areas to hang out by a fire pit or dine outdoors. Sorry, No pets allowed. WIFI, Board games, Washer/Dryer, Kitchen with granite counter tops, microwave, pots & pans, plates, and silverware. At the back of the property, there is NO lake access, but there is a wonderful lake view and an inlet from the lake. NO pets allowed. If a pet is brought onto the property there will be a $200 fee.
