Looking for off the grid aurora sighseeing cozy cabin with sauna? Then Hvílusteinn is perfect as a getaway from the city into the wilderness & as a base camp for South Iceland, within 100 km you have most of Iceland's popular gems! Airport about 170km away. It's nice to just enjoy the local nature and the northern lights in this remote and secluded area of the countryside with a private outdoor shower and shared indoor shower and a sauna. Hvammból Guesthouse - Apartment

Hvammból Guesthouse is a small family run company. We rent out four studio apartments, which all have their own entrance, and a small porch where our guests can enjoy the beautiful view. Each apartment has a king size bed, a kitchen, coffee and tea, a bathroom and free WiFi. Bed linen and towels are provided. Dyrhólaey is only 5 minutes drive away, and other nature attractions, like The black sand beach, Mýrdalsjökull glacier and Skógafoss waterfall are only short distance away.

My place is close to The Golden Circle and the Highlands. The place has picturesque view. You can see Hekla, Eyjafjallajökul, Langjökull through the windows of the cottage. Closed to the cottage is Skálholt church, one of Iceland´s most important historic sites. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, the coziness, the kitchen, the hot tub. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. Only 2 km to Health service. If you have back problems we have a soft mattress for you.

Slakaðu á í þessari rólegu og glæsilegu nýju eign. Húsið er í byggingu og verður tilbúið i byrjun Júní 2024, þess vegna eru eingöngu mundir af því að utan þar sem innviðið er ekki tilbúið fyrr en þá. Í húsinu eru tvö svefnherbergi, baðherbergi, stofa, borðstofa og eldhús. Húsið er staðsett um 5 km frá Kirkjubæjarklaustri og er því mitt á milli The black sand beach í Vík og The national park Skaftafell og Jökulsárlón í austri. Frá húsinu er bæði útsýni að Vatnajökli og Mýrdalsjökli.

A beautiful cottage, close to town and the Thingvalla national park. It is situated beside the museum of Nobel winner Halldór Laxness - and thus on the Golden Circle. The cottage is equipped with a kitchen, shower, Wifi and modern amenities. An experience for tourists or artists looking for inspiration and peace. High probability for Northern Lights, just step outside. Close to the national park, paths and the Reykjanes volcanos. Only 20 min. from Reykjavik centre.

Beautiful, warm and cozy cottage with beds for up to 4 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the village Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The closest grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.

Great newly renovated studio apartment with private entrance for two in a family friendly neighborhood. 35 square meter with a queen size bed (160x200cm), new kitchen and new bathroom. Quick way into the city center (15 min drive), easy access to main roads and quiet neighborhood. There are super markets not too far away and a local swimming pool with hut tubs and sauna. Bus stop is only 1 min away. Close to excellent nature trails with lakes, rivers and open spaces.

Bright and beautiful cottage which is very well located or in a golden circle and only 20 minutes drive from Reykjavik central. The environment is very beautiful and can be enjoyed in many hike trail around the surrounding area. In Only a half hour walk is up to a very beautiful waterfall called Helgufoss. There is also a lot of experiences that can be accessed here in the area such as horse riding, electric biking and hiking.

A small cozy cottage on the edge of a forest in the Westfjords, more specifically by Þingeyri Dýrafjörður. Here you can relax in unspoiled surroundings and enjoy nature in Brekkudalur. This small 25 sqm cottage is heated with a wood stove, water closet, cold running water, gas refrigerator and gas stove.
