Located just minutes away from the famous City of Rocks! Inside, you'll find a cozy queen-sized bed, a sitting area with rattan chairs, and a stylish coffee table! Whether you're coming to climb, or camp, The Rowdy Rooster is perfect for stargazing, relaxing, and embracing the rugged beauty of Southern Idaho!

Forest Glamping

Come relax and getaway in one of our unique geodesic domes. Experience the privacy of camping in the forest with nature but with the comforts of a resort hotel. Enjoy a campfire with s’mores & hotdogs. See the stars in the night sky without city lights and noises. Than instead of a sleeping bag you’re off to your hotel suite with pristine bathroom, gorgeous shower, comfortable bed, soft clean sheets and plush pillows. Guests are welcome to pet the mini dairy goats and see the ducks.

Come stay in the first geodesic dome in the area! Located near two of the most famous hot springs in Idaho; Lava Hot Springs and Downata Hot Springs. Whether you're hanging out by the fire or relaxing on the swing, you'll be able to appreciate the quiet sounds of nature on this 160 acre piece of heaven. Experience camping with all the luxuries of a 5 star hotel. The dome features an en suite full size bathroom with on demand hot water, microwave, complimentary coffee, and a mini-fridge.

We currently offer 5 Geodesic domes and 2 open campsites- located adjacent to Tracy Ranch & The City of Rocks East entrance. The property is secluded, yet conveniently located. Juniper and Pine trees provide a nice cover and privacy. #1 The Salty Heifer This cozy little gem is a 5 meter dome ( 16 feet in diameter) with queen size bed. It is ideal to accommodate two people. The space can easily accommodate a third guest just let us know and we can include a camp cot.
