The house’s architecture is characteristic of Hydra, dating from the C18th and renovated according to local traditional techniques. The two-storey detached house covers a total area of 180 sq. m., composed of a kitchen, dining room, spacious living room, 2 bedrooms with A/C, WC, and bathroom. It also includes a private yard and a terrace with wonderful island views. It is conveniently located on Miaouli street-one of the few public streets WITHOUT stairs-just a 5-minute walk from the port.

Gypset hideaway epitomizes the chic, flawless nonchalance of Hydra. We stumbled upon this Spitaki, or little Greek house, built in 1896, when it was a ruin.
