Enjoy beautiful lake front northern MI, close to many "Tip of the Mitt" towns, trails, activities while enjoying beautiful Burt Lake, including our sunsets. Our guest house is on the second floor of our detached garage. It is at the end of a quiet road and is located off I-75 (exit 310 and 313), 3 miles from town, but 30-40 minutes from many other towns. Listen to records, have a bonfire, relax in the hot tub, or take a walk along the beautiful Lake Louise!

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.

Our home is located on six acres of beautifully wooded land fronting on 400 feet of the blue ribbon Surgeon River with its stellar trout fishing reputation. From our frontage the river is open to your kayaking, canoeing and tubing enjoyment, (bring your own equipment). Bike,snowmobile and cross country ski trails are next door. Petoskey and Harbor Springs, ski and golf resort of Boyne Highlands and Nubs Nob are approximately 30 minutes away. Home has a Fully equipped kitchen.
