Awesome View is appropriately named; we have nearly a 360 degree view of mountains—Blue Ridge and Massanutten. You have the advantage of a fully equipped kitchen, a dining nook with a view of the mountains, full private bath, 12x12 bedroom, spacious family area, cable, wifi, washer/dryer and private parking within inches of your door. We have furnished games, puzzles, reading materials for your spare moments and relaxing pleasure. We ask that you bring no pets and no smoking, vaping or drugs.

Drive 8 mins to an access road and then hike 1 mile into the Shenandoah National Park. Luray Caverns is 25 minutes away. Local wine at Wisteria Farm and Vineyards, 15 minutes away.

If you'd prefer to stay close, enjoy the mountain views with horses grazing in the back pasture.

Ideal for couples or small families, the cabin sleeps up to four guests with cozy sleeping options including a queen bed, full bed, queen sleeper sofa, and twin bed. Enjoy a private hot tub, fire pit, and gas grill, all surrounded by nature. Well-behaved dogs are welcome (up to two max, under 75 lbs).

River Overlook Retreat

River Overlook Retreat is nestled on a wooded hillside just uphill from the Shenandoah River in a secluded, natural setting. Crafted recently by an Amish builder (2019), our cozy, two-bedroom cabin has new furnishings, decorations inspired by the outdoors and local artists, fully equipped kitchen, expansive porch and private riverside deck nearby (just downhill) where the view of the river is located.

There is one security camera that monitors the front door.
