Unwind in a restored log cabin just for two with special comforts and seclusion, perched amidst oak trees, with a detached screened porch/fireplace. There is ONLY ONE guest cabin on 26 acres with our Lake Travis shoreline in the distance. A pastoral sunrise view of deer across the field begins the day. Central A/C, smart tv, clawfoot tub/shower, cotton bedding, duvet and robes. Propane grill. See the night sky, Wildlife/flowers, birding, stars-all yours. We opened Chanticleer Log Cabin in 1996!

We sit in a cove on the eastside of Lake Buchanan. Thunderbird Lodge has a marina with boat slips, fuel, and kayak, stand-up paddle boards and a canoe that rent. If you're into downhill mountain biking, you have easy access to Spider Mountain Bike Park. If that's not your thing you can relax at the pool or at the lake. NON-SMOKING

Enjoy the goats, Don Juan is the main man, Pedro is the chief rabbit. Cabin is equipped with full size refrigerator, large country sink and a two burner stove.

The swimming pool never closes. We rent another cabin and RV so it is possibly shared .
