This cozy 640 sq. ft red log cabin is tucked up in the woods. The bedroom has queen bed. A 200 sq. ft loft has a queen and 2 twins, accessed by ladder (see pic). Full kitchen & BBQ (electric). 3/4 bath (shower). 32" Flat screen, Blu-ray, stereo. Romantic gas fireplace. Limited WiFi & cell coverage, come unwind, relax & recharge. Covered deck offers excellent wildlife observation. Owners have large people-friendly dogs, so no pets allowed. In winter, 4WD vehicle or chains strongly advised.

Jim and I built our home here in 1984 and raised our girls here, where I grew up. Our Guest House is newly made to look old, and is 750 sq.ft. in size, overlooking a large meadow with several ponds. Kirtland Cutter Rock House - National Register

Stay in a piece of history - the Rock House of Metaline Falls was built by renowned architect Kirtland Cutter in 1910 and is one of the most unique homes on the National Register of Historic Places.
