Built in 1890, Chestnut Cottage is located in the heart of the historic district within easy walking distance of shops, galleries, restaurants and historic sites. The Cottage features a comfortable living room, bright dining room, country kitchen, first floor bathroom and two upstairs bedrooms with one queen bed and one twin bed. Chestnut Cottage features artwork by prominent local artists. Wi-Fi, cable TV, DVD/CD players are included. Complimentary coffee/tea service. Minimum two night stay.

Welcome, with this unique key-less entry, you have privacy. Walk into the fully loaded kitchen and living room. The living room has a desk to work at or watch TV. The bathroom has a walk in shower; use the fan or heat lamp. The Bedroom has a queen size bed, a dresser, night stand with lamp. Along with a spacious closet, it includes a washer and dryer. Feel free to do your laundry and hang your items up. Working, relaxing, and living. Our space have all the essentials you need for your stay.

Open concept with a two story fireplace, porch fireplace, firepit, and open loft for sleeping (1 bed), with spiral stairs, lots of windows, walnut floors and trim, oak beams and pine kitchen tops. Shower is big and open, with doors opening to a back deck for outdoor showering. Beautiful covered porch overlooking rolling meadows and woods.

Exclusive use of top 2 floors of home in a scenic location. Host will reside solely in basement apartment during your stay. Location is perfect as a base for exploration. 5 minutes from Governor Dodge State Park. 8 minutes to The House On The Rock. Also close to Taliesin, American Players Theater, Spring Green and Mineral Point. Or, you can just get away from it all by enjoying this scenic location at the end of a long private driveway. You will have this entire cozy, Pet Free 2 bedroom home for up to 4 guests with 2 queen beds. A fully equipped kitchen & outside grill allows you to fix your own meals. Use the home and comfortable Deck as a base to simply relax in the quiet neighborhood or take a short walk to downtown or short drive to enjoy the beauty of Gov Dodge State Park, House on the Rock & Driftless Area.
