Cozy apartment & sauna in the center of Saariselkä

Welcome to my holiday home in the heart of Saariselkä – only a few minutes' walk away of Urho Kekkonen National Park trailheads. I renovated and furnished my home completely in 2023 with all modern amenities while preserving the traditional stone-built fireplace and Finnish sauna. With three beds upstairs and a large sofa bed downstairs, the accommodation is comfortable for various types of groups. The remote working space, fully equipped kitchen and laundry also make it ideal for a longer stay.

Peaceful log cabin by the lake Inari

Come to relax for Metsola. Very peaceful log accommodation located next to the lake Inari. Main building, sauna room, hut and storage. A parking lot and pier at lake. Dry toilet away from main building, no running water but in summer a tube from the spring. 12V electricity from the battery for lighting and usb-charging. If necessary, 230V electricity with generator. The kitchen has a gas stove and a 12V refrigerator or a small gas refrigerator. The cabin is heated with a fireplace and stove.

Mökki metsän keskellä, oma ranta. Soutuvene on käytettävissä kesällä. Inariin matkaa n. 10km. Sähköt on, ei vesijohtovettä. Omasta kaivosta tulee kylmä vesi saunalle, josta saa juomaveden ja pesuvedet. Pesu-ja tiskivesi pitää lämmittää. Kompostikäymälä piharakennuksessa. Majoittujalla tulee olla kokemusta mökkeilystä paikassa missä ei ole vesijohtovettä eikä sisävessaa sekä pitää osata lämmittää puilla sauna. Omat liinavaatteet ja pyyhkeet tulee ottaa mukaan. Talossa on 100mb kuituliittymä, uusi Tv,radio, jääkaappi, iso pakastin,astian pesukone ja pesukone, silitystila etc. Ohjeistus Ivalon, Inarin ja Saariselän nähtävyyksistä sekä palveluista. Savu is furnished with style by Finnish design. You can chill along fireplace and check aurora borealis from your own pier. Savu has also an exotic smoke sauna in the same building what you can also rent for an extra fee. Hot tube is also possible to rent. Ice swimming is possible as well.

This private little cottage is located next to the lake of Inari, but also only just 15 minutes drive away from the center of Ivalo. Beautiful lake and fell scenery opens straight away from the front door and sauna. Cottage has modern equipments for cozy living, a fireplace and wood-heated sauna. During the evenings you can hear huskies howling few kilometers away and hopefully spot the auroras dancing above the lake. Entrance to bathroom through cold veranda.

Vieraan pitää olla kokenut majoittuja, joka hallitsee puulämmitteiset tulisijat ja kaasuhellan käytön. Tottunut myös selviytymään erilaisissa luonnon olosuhteissa eri vuodenaikoina.

Fully equipped kitchen and tableware for six. The cabin can accommodate 4 people. In the sauna cabin there is a wood-heated sauna. Premises should be cleaned by the client prior to leaving or can opt for cleaning service cost 170e. Bedding and towels are available.
