We are in the country next to a blacktop road.This is a very laidback place , there are farm animals across the road at our farm. This was my moms farm house and I just want people to enjoy it as much as she did. We are close to Kincaid Lake, the local winerie, the World Shooting Complex, and hiking trails (Piney Creek Revenue). Come and enjoy a day fishing or just sitting on the back deck enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Later build a fire and sit back and relax. Come and enjoy the country.

Enjoy tiny farmhouse life in this adorable 375 sq. foot cottage. Loaded with everything you need this little cottage is nestled privately behind some trees on our 11 acre farm. You will soon forget how close you are to town with the beautiful view from your windows and the pasture fence just steps out the back door. Whether you’re here for the wineries, amazing hiking, an SIU event (3 miles) or to visit with family, the Homestead Cottage will provide a comfortable retreat from any adventure.

Bald Knob Cabin

Located in heart of Shawnee National Forest, Bald Knob Wilderness and River To River Trail , is a former orchard turned cozy hiker/biker haven. Just 2 miles down the road from Bald Knob Cross of Peace. This studio style cabin was recently renovated and has a fully functioning kitchen. Bald Knob Cabin is the ideal location to unplug and put your feet up after a long day hiking trails or traveling the Shawnee Wine Trail that flows through the cozy, inviting town of Alto Pass. No WIFI or TV!

Located 2 miles off rt. 151 in Shawnee National forest. The cabin is along tree line just west of Crazy Joe’s Fish House. Restaurant is open at 4pm Wednesday, Friday and Saturday Guests receive $10 food voucher with stay 1bedroom cabin with queen bed, living room with queen sleeper sofa. Our cabin will be waiting for your arrival or return, well equipped with a 55" TV above the gas fireplace, a comfortable King size bed, and an amazing back porch with a Weber Grill and huge hot tub.

Tucked into the rolling hills of the Shawnee National Forest, our modern cabin offers a welcoming retreat where comfort and nature meet. Wander down a private trail to explore or climb at the Holy Boulders, or take an easy drive to local wineries and see the iconic sights of Little Grand Canyon, Inspiration Point, and Pomona Natural Bridge. When you’re ready to slow down, return to soak in the hot tub, unwind in the sauna, and settle into our cabin made for rest and connection.

7 minutes from Kinkaid Lake's Paul Ice boat ramp. 15 minutes fron Kinkaid marina. Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. There is plenty of room to park your boat. After a day on the lake come back to the house and enjoy some relaxing time either in the house or under the shade trees in the yard. The family room furniture is set up for a family gathering or watching TV. The bedrooms all have new mattresses and different types of pillows to choose from.
