Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Comfortably sleep 6 :) Enjoy the 40 acres right behind the cabin for hiking, or hunting when in season, tons of wildlife, abundant turkey, and whitetail deer for game hunters. Hiking and hunting to be done at own risk, owner not liable for injury. Completely remodeled inside 2021. Wake up to the view of the woods and have coffee on the covered front deck while the sun rises or enjoy s’mores by the fire pit outside at night with stars :)

Come enjoy the peace and quiet, Possum Hollow Cabins have a total of 3 Cabins. That set approximately 2,000 feet from the main road. Private trails that can be used to hike or mountain bike, and a fishing pond out side grills and seating along with fire tables. also available is a game room on site. Possum Hollow is close to Richland furnace old Chillicothe, Tecumseh Dogwood pass. There are cattle farms located near by pets are welcome as well. We can’t wait to see y’all come see us soon!

Private, rustic cabin getaway

***The property is conveniently located directly off of State Route 35, so that does create highway noise. Please take that into consideration when booking.*** Our cabin is surrounded by nature and has a nearly full wrap-around porch perfect for viewing wildlife. Due to it's location it's a perfect place for outdoor recreation, hosting small family gatherings, or to simply relax. We're just 7 minutes west of Jackson, one of Ohio's hidden gem small towns. The Cut In The Hill Chalets is a relatively unknown gem in the Ross, Hocking, Jackson and Vinton County region. The majestic, mature forest make it a perfect week long or weekend getaway!
