Cottage located by the mountains of Câmara de Lobos in Madeira Island, with a view to the Atlantic ocean and to the west coast of Funchal. The house is just for you and your companion. You will not have to share it with other persons. From June 2025: Now with a private parking spot in a flat area, about 250m from the house. Wifi internet in all the house. Cable TV service in the living room. Please read carefully all informations before booking. Here you can relax and connect with nature.

Old Wine Villa

Welcome to Paradise! Come stay at our cozy Villa with a splendid Atlantic ocean view by the infinity pool! This house was first built in 1932 and since then it has been know as "Casa do Vinho Velho", "The Old Wine House". My great-grand mother used to tell stories about the old man "Vinho Velho" and his passion for his wine and agriculture. The house has been updated but we have kept old features, like an old brick oven in the kitchen and 3 stone rocks for vine hanging in the living room!

Para poder desfrutar e interagir com a natureza na sua plenitude, retiramos dos abrigos todas as tecnologias, nomeadamente Wi-Fi e televisão. Apenas a receção tem Wi-fi. Os nossos abrigos ficam situados dentro do Parque Ecológico do Funchal, com uma área de 8 km2. O Parque possui vários percursos pedestres recomendados, Canyoning, um percurso de Enduro BTT, entre outras actividades.

Perfect for resting and recuperating energies during your visits to the island. Near the house you will find a levada walk with great view over the fabulous mountainous landscapes of the west. Original are the tree trunks , one can see from in- and outside. From the kitchen/living room you have a wonderful view to the garden and the Atlantic ocean.
